Made Violent is a newly signed band to
Columbia Records. Shortly after the release of their song, "Wasted
Days", Joseph White, Justin Acee, and Rob Romano were signed as the newest
Alternative Rock band at the label.

After getting signed in 2014, Made
Violent set off on a tour of the country. Ranging from New York,
Pennsylvania, Alabama, Texas and many more they have been performing all over.
After an exclusive interview with the band about their future plans touring was
the number one answer shortly followed by their debut album. “We've got a few
tours and a couple big festival shows to wrap up this summer. Then we'll
continue finishing the writing for our full length (album). We've got a solid
50 some songs right now and another 50 wouldn't be so bad.” Unfortunately, they
will not be opening for The Rolling Stones this summer which the guys were
pretty bummed about.
Made Violent has been together since 2013 where Justin, Rob and Joe
formed in their hometown of Buffalo, New York. They have just released their first
self-entitled studio EP in late February of this year. Their music cannot only
be found on iTunes and Spotify where "Wasted Days" has over 154,000
plays alone.

As for the formation of the band the members dished, “We wanted to
make music that we could enjoy listening to ourselves.” And if you’re wondering
the band does in fact write all their own music. “The last group we were
involved with dealt with someone else writing all of the music so we were just
kind of fed up and we wanted to take control of our own lives. The three of us
coming together and writing the music collectively was probably the best move
in the history of anything. We're much happier now.”
What inspired these new school rockers to pick up their
instruments and create pleasurable music? Well the classics of course! “Any
great guitar band or singer song writer. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana,
Oasis, yadda yadda etc. The great songwriters like Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan,
Ryan Adams, and Tom Petty.”
With such amazing inspirations it’s no wonder why they make such
great music. Their repertoire consists of “Wasted Days”, “Two Tone Hair”, “You
Had It Easy”, “Dirty” and many more. So where does all the inspiration come
from in order to write so many great songs? “Sometimes you have to sit down and
work hard for the good ones. Sometimes the really good ones just fall out of
the sky and can be written in five to ten minutes. A good song is catchy, it's
got a great story or it's got something to relate to. Every day things.”
Great bands are hard to find: great live performers are even
harder to find. Made Violent makes it
easy with their amazing live vocals and live performances. Crowd interactions
are plentiful and a great vibe takes over the crowd as Made Violent rocks the stage. Band members and fans alike both get
wild when the band plays “Wasted Days”. The band says, “It's when all the
cellphones come out.”

This band sure has a bright future ahead of them. With albums,
tours, and bigger and better interviews lined up the band is staying true to
themselves. “If you are a true artist, you
learn to never settle. You learn to never settle and you learn the value of
patience. Each accomplishment, no matter how big or small, is just a stepping
stone to the next one.” Made Violent’s
main end goal for their musical career and success in the industry is a simple
goal that is humbling to the soul. “Our goal is to be more than just a
household name.”
I wish you guys
the best of luck with your careers and I hope that everyone enjoys your music
as much as I do.
